Manager SimCell Product Line

Reports to: Chief Scientific Officer

Job Description:

Provide product management, strategic leadership and technical knowledge to grow our SimCell microbioreactor product line.

The SimCell Product Line Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of product planning and development. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition
  • Act as a leader within the company

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a product / business management role
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Experience in the cell culture and/or bioprocessing markets highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree minimum, with MBA or Ph.D. preferred
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
